When one is suffering the pain of divorce, it
is so very difficult to see the glass as half full, rather than
half empty. We concentrate on how to overcome the challenges
that divorce has imposed, and rightfully so. I know. ‘Been
there; done that. Now, some years after my divorce, I work with a different focus.
I know that I am in a better place in life as a result of my
divorce than I could ever have been as a married woman. It was
actually my divorce that allowed me to build the life I wanted. It’s the ‘mind game’ that I have referred to in other articles.
…..It all depends on how you measure things (in this case,
divorce) – by all you’ve lost, or by all you’ve gained as a
result of it. Think how you can use your new-found freedom to
grow, to learn, to dream. Think how you can invest the gift of
divorce and reap the life of your dreams. The world is yours. I would like to share these lines from a poem by author, Mary
Oliver. Her words convey this spirit of opportunity that I hope
you can make yours. THE WILD GEESE Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine. Meanwhile, the world goes on. Meanwhile the sun and the clear pebbles of the rain are moving
across the landscapes, the prairies and the deep trees; the
rivers and the mountains. Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clear blue air, are flying
home again. Whoever you are, no matter how lonely, the world offers itself
to your imagination; calls to you, like the wild geese,
exciting, over and over, announcing your place in the family of
things. To find out about Judy’s unique coaching program, click on
