Center for Planned Change Launches Divorce
Coaching Clubs
Phone-Based Support Groups Give Late-in-Life
Divorcés a Fresh Start
(dateline) Judy Smith, Director of the Center for Planned
Change, announces the launch of her phone-based Divorce Coaching
Clubs (www.judysmithdivorcecoach.com),
a low-cost, quick-start program for over 50s women wanting to
build new and satisfying lives after divorce.
“For a growing number of women leaving long-term marriages,
divorce can be devastating,” explains Smith. “I created Divorce
Coaching Clubs specifically to help these women get through the
emotional road blocks and see their divorce as an opportunity to
create the life they’ve always wanted.”
After her 37 year marriage ended, Judy Smith became a Divorce
Coach to use the life lessons she learned to help other “grey”
divorcees. “But one-on-one-coaching limits the number of women I
can help,” explains Smith, “and personal coaching can be
expensive. Divorce Coaching Clubs that meet by phone expand the
number of women I can reach and provide the benefits of coaching
at a price almost everyone can afford.”
“Divorce affects us on every level and in every aspect of our
lives,” says Dr. Elinor Robin, nationally known divorce mediator
and partner in A Friendly Divorce. “Often it can take a
woman four years or more to get her life back on track after
divorce. Judy Smith's Divorce Coaching Club can help shorten that
timeline. This action-oriented program can help a woman build a
successful new life, step-by-step.”
In each session, Divorce Coaching Club members get advice and
support from Smith, and others who are in a similar situation.
Members get a personalized action plan to bring them closer to
their life goals. “Telephone coaching provides a way for members
to participate only as much as they wish and still take away
exactly what they need,” explains Smith.
